Could you be due a refund?

There are a number of reasons that you could be due a tax refund, these include:

• You only worked for part of the year  
• You have expenses to claim
• You earned less than $9,880  
• You used a secondary tax code when your total income was under $38,000  
• You earned less than $38,000 and had interest or dividends taxed at 33% or  higher  
• You are a working holiday maker  
• You are a school student and you worked part-time  
• You were made redundant during the year or received a lump sum payment
